Finally moved!

It's been forever since my last post....!

We have had some tough months - lots of work, trouble and long nights... until we finally moved in into our house.

We moved last friday - the 11th. And we already feel home. It's great.


Our friends were great helper - we were 12 guys to carry all that stuff downstairs and up in the house. The last night - we slept in between all those boxes and stuff.... a horrible night.



Since we were a little scared about damaging our couch - we wrapped it into foil - and carried it downstairs by ourselves - it took about 3 hours to wrap it, carry it downstairs and bring it into the new house - but it was worth it - it didn't get a single defect.
This is what one piece of the couch looked like.


We do have to much stuff.... we almost filled this truck twice....

I will post some photos of the house soon.... gotta get the boxes unpacked first :-)

I found Katie!!!!!

I love the Internet!
I got an E-Mail today that Katie signed up for Facebook! Isn't that the cooles thing ever?

We were such great friends during my year in Idaho, and I felt awful that I had "lost" her!

I was the first "non-member-missionary" and she was my sister.


She is such a wonderful person! She is so honest, and fun to be around - she always finds the right words to say and is just loving.
I am sooo happy about being able to stay in contact again!!!!

Christmas Cookie-Time

Christmas Time - time to bake cookies....

since I hadn't seen lots of my school friends, I invited them to make christmas-cookies. I love the smell of chocolate and cookies in the house. Ist't it wonderful? I think that christmas-time starts with the smell....

I made some cute invitations

and got tons of stuff to bake:
5 kg of flour
5 kg of sugar
20 pkg. of Vanillinsugar and 20 pkg. of Bakingpowder - and loooots of decorations.
6pkgs. of Butter and 20 eggs.


We used almost all of it.


4 of my friends found time to come. It was great to see them again.
We made some "Design"-Cookies, which turned out all right.


Here you can see Jenny on the right, she was in Indiana for a year, when I was in Idaho. We still love to philosophize about the time in USA. On the left its Steffi, a friend from high school.
